SX900 Out of tune
«

My SX900 seems to be out of tune with the accompaniment, just a hair flat. I tried the Master tune but that tunes both at the same time, not just one. Does anyone have any input on this?

Just do a master system reset by holding down the rightmost white key while powering up the keyboard - this should solve the problem.
Good luck,
Gary

Hi Jaebea,
I've noticed this too occasionally and a re-start fixes it on my SX900.
Robert.

Check in two places.
Tuning must be 0, and Scale must be Type Equal.

I am going to take the "reset" plunge today. Will I lose my custom stuff, ie user instruments?

Holding down the rightmost white key while powering on will give you a soft reset. You will not lose files, but some settings may go back to default.

Reset done and all is well again! My custom instruments still there and even what was in my registration memory was still there. That was great because I was able to use most of what was there for song service at church in the morning! I love this keyboard!! That you for your help!
