I have tried to install the Church organ pack, YEM say it's not compatible with the instrument?  Has anyone else loaded this to Genos please?

Hi Colin

Have you downloaded the GENOS one.

Bill,

This is the Pack I have seen this is possible on the Genos, it's there if you search for it too?

Hi Colin

It does not look like there is a Genos one.  Each of the packs shown need to be installed on the KB they were set up for.

@Colin

Try the S970 Version.  I believe that's compatible on the Genos.

I bought the PSR-S770 version a few years ago, It's a PPF file which loads OK into YEM and installed fine on my Genos. Not sure why the S970 version would not work too.

Hi Derek,

The files I have are .cpf extensions, I guess your type would load okay?  I wonder how to get a .ppf version?

Thanks

Hi Colin,

The "Church Organ" Pack is, like most of the Yamaha "now free" Packs, in the protected .cpf format. Obviously there are currently only versions of this Pack for PSR-SX and PSR-S models. However, these versions cannot be used for Genos or Tyros5.

You can download a .ppf version (intended for PSR-S970/975) of the "Church Organ" Pack by clicking the following link. This version also works with Genos or Tyros5. :)

Thanks, Chris. That's a good observation regarding cpf.

I successfully installed the S970 version on Genos from ppf, a few years ago.

The Church Organ pack is a gem.

Hi All, thanks to Chris supplying the download link, I have also had success installing the Church Organ pack. The S970 ppf. file did the trick. It is a great expansion pack. Those still looking for some more Pipe & Church Organ voices, I have the pack from SynthCloud. I highly recommend for those playing in church. Here is the link. You can also listen to samples on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp8pH1X1fe0&t=5s
