Glad to see there's DGX section.
I'm a senior living in a senior community. I lately revived my interest in playing the piano, again. When someone asks if I "play the piano," I reply, "No, I practice the piano."
I recently purchased a DGX-670 although I was somewhat put off initially by it's complexity. I watched a few online demos of the DGX-670 and concluded that it was my best choice as an upgrade to a modern instrument. I come from a piano heritage.
I have a Clavinova CVP 79A that was sold in the last century. I bought it used about 10 years ago for $400. It's about 25 years old but still sounds and plays nicely. It also is a beautiful piece of furniture to have sitting around, the cabinetry is colored dark rose with mini-grand curves. The potential resale value is so low I just plan to keep it.
I also have a Yamaha DJX PSR-D1. I bought this new, also in the last century, and have yet to master it. There's lot's of YouTube demos and recordings of this instrument. Some call the DJX rare. When it was new, there was no YouTube. I didn't have this source for seeing its potential. I'm coming to appreciate it more. I recently plugged its AUX/Phones output into a guitar amp and the sound really came alive.
When I left the store with the DGX-670 I asked about lessons for the instrument. The employee said something about the internet. I eventually found PSR Tutorials on-line as I searched for help on various topics. I'm the kind of guy that reads the owner's manual, which I find overwhelming in this instance when it comes to really understanding how to use and the effect of all the various options. I worked as a scientific computer programmer for a career and now view the vast array of modern digital arranger/digital piano keyboards as musical computers that one must program at the machine level.
I also enrolled in online piano lessons that go deeply into music theory, improvisation, and composition.
Quite happy these days -
