E463/EW410 audio recording question?
« on: September 16, 2021, 02:30:47 PM »
I just got an EW410 (same as E463 but with 76 keys instead of 61).
I am able to record my playing as an audio file on the USB stick.
I like to do an audio recording by playing a MIDI file that I recorder earlier. Can't do it.
I select the MIDI (USER1 or USER2), then press the AUDIO button for more than a second, then press REC. The audio recorder starts counting the elapsed time. I hit PLAY to play the MIDI song, the song is NOT played at all.
Anyone knows how to do this ? The manual does not say anything about playing a song and record it as AUDIO.

I think this is a limitation of this keyboard model; you can't play back a MIDI song and record it to audio.

The manual says "data which cannot be recorded includes [...] songs"

I guess, connecting the keyboard to a PC via USB will let the PC record digital audio from the keyboard.
