Hi Tyros2009  :

I feel very sorry for you.🙄
This is bad and sad news, I guess. 😥

Did you contact Yamaha USA about the present Genos lead time and price ?

If you have the intention to do so, I would be very grateful for sharing their reply.

Thank you for your help.

It looks to become a very serious problem.

Wish you all the best, JH

I don't think you can call this a serious problem with all that is going on around the world. Different countries have different policies on how they supply keyboards. Here
in the UK we don't have a big problem with getting the keyboard you want and I am sure there are shops in the USA that have these keyboards also.
I think this thread is getting a little stale now.

In US, not only keyboards, cars and other devices using microchips seem to be affected. New cars are hard to find, old cars are sold at price higher than normal.

Anyway, my Genos is delivered today (less than 4 days since I ordered).
The next one on Amazon is listed for 1000$ more (tax included), no buyer yet.
I am happy having my Genos at home. Will do a lot of tests in the next few weeks.

The Mexican store Faly Music offers Yamaha Genos in the equivalent of $ 4275 US dollars.

I just got a new one for about $4,200... but from a Yamaha dealer in Africa.  Man, I feel good about my purchase now....I actually wanted a sx900, but they were out of stock.  Then when I tried the sx700, and the A5000 I just had to buy the Genos.

I bought mine recently from Alto Music. I didn't get any bargain price, but at least they had one available in the USA.  I did get what they call "Alto Bucks" for 15% of the price that could be applied to a new order, which I put into buying some accessories for the keyboard.  So I guess it all worked out in the end.

According to their website, they still have at least one available right now.
