Seeing the Tutorial Forum on Windows Computer
« on: August 30, 2021, 11:14:25 PM »
Hi folks,
I wasn’t sure where to put this query
When I view the site on my Windows 10 computer it doesn’t show the supporters section, but when I view it on my iPad it does show it
Can anyone offer any suggestions how to fix this
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Are you logging into your Windows 10 computer as a forum member or as a guest?

Hi Adrian,

Usually the login area is visible at the top of the forum site, i.e. you can see immediately whether you are logged in or not. (See also the first attached picture.)

If you do not see this area under Windows, click on the downward pointing arrow symbol in the top right corner. This allows you to show or hide the login area. (See the second attached picture).

In order to be able to see certain forum areas, such as the Charter/Supporting Members area, you have to be logged in (with your username and password), as Roger mentioned earlier.

Best regards,
Chris

Thankyou Chris and Roger,
I will take a look to see if I was signed in as you suggest tomorrow morning Sydney time
Didn’t notice this morning I was just a bit baffled by it, my computer is supposed to sign me in automatically

Thanks again,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

maybe you have deleted the Cookies in your web browser. Then you have to log in to the forum again.

By the way, I have set my browser (Firefox) so that all cookies are always deleted when I quit the browser. I.e. I log into the forum anew with each session. :)

Best regards,
Chris
