Styles for Genos
« on: July 17, 2021, 11:16:56 PM »
Are there any of you members who have experience in buying good styles for Genos.
I have been on the website but there are almost only styles for Tyros.
I know you can use Tyros 5 styles - but there must be someone who has made styles for Genos
I mostly play country and dance music. I hope you can help with good website

Some more links:

Have not purchased from these two sites yet, intend to do so soon. Both sites have video or audio samples of the styles.

Styles from this site appear to be  those they have downloaded from across the internet, including psrtutorial, and bundled up into very large collections. Quality ranges from very good to very poor.

I think you may be reading too much into the difference Genos vs T5. A style is really the same regardless of what model it was originally designed for. Any improvement in voices or overall sound is going to come through anyway.

I agree. And there are thousands of styles on PSR TUT. main site for free!
Toril S

Genos, Tyros 5, PSR S975, PSR 2100
and PSR-47.
Former keyboards: PSR-S970.

📝 I disagree, because a style made specially for Genos may also take advantage of many of the new sounds and drums not present in former models.
Then you have to edit and tweak, and even so, you may struggle hard to make it real good or as good as the original or professionals, or even to please personal taste.
Yes, there are zillions of free stuff for Yamaha keyboards, but the qulity differ quite a lot.
There is all from pure rubbish to fairly good playable ones, and then it's all those so or so in between...

You can check the packs that the guys from PlaySounds sell, I have a tyros 5 and I use the G-Keys Plus and I love it.
