Smart Pianist app
« on: July 09, 2021, 08:02:27 AM »
There is a iPad app called Smart Pianist which gives some control over various options for some Yamaha  pianos.  It’s from Yamaha and it’s free. Would be nice if we had something similar for Genos.  If only to  change voices and styles it would let us prop an iPad up and make it easier to see in bright lights.

Good point, Oldden. For performers, there would be the issue of where to put it. I already use a Samsung Android for my charts. Flipping back and forth between the charts and Genos settings during a show could prove difficult. Does the Yamaha app even work on Androids?

The issue of lighting versus the Genos screen has been of concern since the Genos' release - mainly for performers because home players have far more control over the lighting situation. Good post, though ;)!
"Learn" your music correctly, then "practice" it. Don't practice mistakes because you'll learn them.
