Subject is my question!  Assume R1 or R2.

TIA.

Hi Dave,

I just searched the Genos Data List for the term "mandolin":

There is a voice "MandolinTremolo" in the "A.Guitar" category. Have you already tried this voice?

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

I had simply overlooked that!
Will probably try mandolin in R1 and mandolintremolo in R2 and play them together.
Thanks, Chris.

Thanks for your feedback, Dave!

By the way: If you combine a normal Mandolin voice on R1 with the MandolinTremolo voice on R2, you could try setting the EG ATTACK (TIME) parameter to a slightly higher value for the tremolo voice in "Voice Edit > Sound". The tremolo voice on R2 is then slightly delayed so that on short notes you actually only hear the voice of R1.

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Dave,
You also may have a voice called Mediterrain on your Genos. It is something I use quite often...
On my S-950 it is in the Choir&Pad voice section.

@Dave
On the Genos you will find the voice "Mediterrain" in the "Pad" voice folder.

P.S.
You could also try using a normal Mandolin voice, but additionally using the Tremolo option of the "Keyboard Harmony/Arpeggio" function ("Menu > Kbd Harmony/Arp > Category "Echo" > Type "Tremolo"). Please see also the attached picture!

Best regards,
Chris

Thanks for the tips, Bruce/Chris.
It would have taken me YEARS to ever think about looking in the "Pad" sector!   I simply don't "hear" music with pad sounds.
