Screen Visibility Outdoors

Today I played my very first daytime gig outdoors!  It was a blast and I will certainly do it again weather permitting.

One problem, the screen on my keyboard was not easy to see.  Is there a way to adjust the screen for outdoor use?

Hi Deane,

in contrast to the Genos, the display brightness can be set on the SX900 (in "Menu > Utility > Touch Screen/Display Page 1/2 > Brightness> Screen). You should definitely check this setting. However, the brightness could already be set to the maximum value there anyway.

By the way: The readability of the display when performing outdoors is not particularly good on the Genos either. For this reason, some users bought such a sun visor for the display or built it themselves:

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
