Topic: Is this demo fake?

I came across this YouTube-demo of the SX700 and SX900, and there is a significant difference in sound. I know the SX900 has more sounds, but here the SX700 sounds like a low bitrate mp3. Is the sound in SX900 so much better than the SX700 or is it just a bad video?

Both recordings to my ears sound over-modulated...distorted.

Hi Shubid,

this "demo" video is just a FAKE. The "SX900" passages are in Stereo, and the "SX700" passages are mixed in MONO and with less treble.

The SX700's basic sound is exactly like the SX900's (via Line Out, because, as is well known, the SX900 has better internal Speakers).

If you want to compare the sound of SX700 versus SX900 by yourself, you can take a look at the video below. You don’t have to understand Polish (I don’t) to notice that certain instruments sound exactly the same on both instruments, e.g. watch the video starting at minute 9:00. But of course the SX900 has more and more special voices (S.Art, megavoice etc).
