Can anyone help with sounds for “I Do I Do I Do”
« on: May 01, 2021, 11:59:32 PM »
There is a distinctive sound used for I Do I Do I Do also on “ Everybody’s somebody’s fool “ and other Connie Francis songs. I’ve tried all sorts of instruments on my Tyros 4 but can’t replicate this sound. Any help would be appreciated.

I Do should start with a Sax ensemble. As it's played in 3rds you don't want a Super Art 2 voice here, so one of the other solo saxes, plus one of the sax sections. Choose the ones you like best. I tend to go with solo sax for the melody, bringing in brass later.
It's not what you play, it's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
