Audio to Phone not working Help

Hi Everyone i seen a video where you can buy leads and play audio direct through My android phone.

My problem is the audio is distorted i am using open camera and have adjusted the settings asc  stated but to no avail
. Is there any setting on the keyboard im missing or on the samsung phone i do believe i have the correct leads
.
Any help would be appreciated
