What’s the quickest way to add a 4 or3 beat count in (using clicks or hi hat)?

Another neat way is to use a pedal set up to tap in the beat. This has the advantage that it automatically sets the tempo of the style to whatever you decide to tap in, as apposed to using the existing tempo of the style.

Mika,
good idea. How does it give an audible count in?

If you set the style to synch start and tap the pedal, you get an audible tap in and when you hit the first chord the style starts in exactly that tempo. Just like you would in a real band.
