Transpose melody in the Genos keyboard
« on: March 24, 2021, 11:51:01 PM »
I have made a split point on my Genos - one for the left hand for chords and one for the right hand for melody.

My question now is about transposed the voice in these two split points.

An example left should be transposed 5 tones up - but right should be transposed 5 tones down.

Have tried with the button for transposition but can only transpose them together - not separately - is it possible?

This is confusing, you mean you want to transpose left and right hands into different keys?? That doesn’t make sense.

You're right. The transposition button transposes the entire keyboard. Thank goodness.

Is it possible to change the octave of a voice independent of others. Is this what you're trying to do?

Cheers,

To the left is transpose upper keyboard one octave,  or you can edit the voice in the registration for that part too,

Use the octave button to get a derper rh sound. Different key is not possible.

The only way is to set some right hand sounds to YEM.
Although I don't know what way of playing it is needed, you can only do it that way.

very good question I can do it but for that I use two keyboards my Tyros 5 and my PSR 975 and there I do what I want..a different setting transposes for each keyboard good courage

An example left should be transposed 5 tones up - but right should be transposed 5 tones down.

Have tried with the button for transposition but can only transpose them together - not separately - is it possible?

Select a voice and go to voice settings. There you can set Left R1 Rw2 R3 into what ever octave you require. Now save these settings into a registration bank.

Don’t think you fully caught the original question. He wants to transpose left and right hands into different keys. Not possible. Hard to imagine why anyone would want to do that.
