Setting the category of individual drums in a custom kit
« on: February 23, 2021, 02:28:59 AM »
I've asked this before with no success, but I'll try again:

Yamaha somehow knows which drum sounds in a drum kit are kicks or snares, or hihats, etc. This becomes useful when replacing drums and when using the Line Out section, because you can choose just to change or send the kick (for example).

Does anyone know how to program a custom drum kit so that Yamaha correctly differentiates the various different instruments within the kit?

Thank you,
Chony

Just Follow the GM Drum Map

Norman.

The question is can I change the map. For example let’s say I have 10 snares on a single kit.
