Exporting DGX670 styles
« on: February 19, 2021, 02:34:33 PM »
Hi,

When I had a PSR E433 soem years ago, two styles I loved were DreamDance and JazzClub. I’d like very much to try them out on the DGX650. Could possibly a DGX670 owner export them (preferably in SFF1 format) and post them here?

Thanks in advance,

Vinciane
Past keyboards: PSR E313, PSR E413, PSR E433, PSR S550, DGX 640, upright piano.
Now: DGX 650, Casio CT-X800.

Hi,

Do you still need the styles? I would like to help but I don't know how to export them.

Hi,

Yes, I’d still need them. I don’t know how you can export them though, maybe another forum member can help?

I expect it's like all Yamaha boards select style/s DGX670 COPY ALL. Insert USB Stick..Page to USB stick & Paste.

Hello Christopher --

Thank you for making those styles available.

I occasionally convert and post new styles and I'm interested in studying the new adaptive styles. If you get a chance, would you be kind enough to post the Soul and DetroitPop2 styles from the Dance and R&B category? If you're too busy, I understand.

Thanks, again -- pj

Hi Christopher,

you can copy (export) all DGX-670 Preset Styles at once to a USB stick:

- Press any Style Category button to open the Style Selection display.

- Press "Up" (= upper 8 button). Now you should see the Style Category folders.

- Press "Copy" > "All" > "OK". Then tab to USB and press "Paste".

- Wait until the copy process has finished. (This will take some time. ;) )

P.S.
Before you upload the Styles, you should copy all copied Style Category folders from the USB stick to a main folder (e.g. with the name "DGX-670 Preset Styles") and then zip this folder. You can then post the link to this zip file here.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris
