Topic: microphone / song settings

Can anyone help me please with my microphone / song settings on my sx 900 ? If i use the mic on its own it sounds good but if i put a song through the keyboard and try to sing along with it the song overpowers the mic and it seems impossible to change the balance

The solution is very simple, turn down the song as needed and turn up the main potentiometer

i dont mean the vocals on the song ( i mean an mp3 with no vocals ie a karaoke type song 0

Same thing, you reduce the volume of the MP3 a bit and the microphone you sing to will be heard.
