Saving OTS on/off in registration
« on: February 07, 2021, 01:11:14 PM »
I noticed that the status of OTS link is not saved in the registration memory of my CVP407. Is this normal? This is one of the settings to play a song, like main variation, sync start etc., so I do not understand why this is not saved.

Hi Bert,

as you can see in the CVP-407 Data List (page 55, section "Parameter List"), the parameter "OTSLink (On/Off)" cannot be saved anywhere. When the Music Finder is called up, "OTSLink" is automatically switched on. (This is the normal behavior on all Yamaha keyboards that have a "Music Finder".)

P.S.
Basically you should either work with OTS or with Registrations, but not "mix" both functions. I only use OTS when trying out Styles and as a suggestion for my own sound settings. Otherwise I only work with Registrations.

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
