multiple keyboards

I have a band and am wondering if it's possible to gang 4 keyboards through a MIDI junction box to the PSR-SX900?   Just looking at the MIDI specs, it seems like it should be possible with up to 16 keyboards, and each one could be tagged to a different instrument voice on the PSR.    I've seen multi-channel MIDI junction boxes out there - up to 8x.    Any thoughts?

If by 'junction box' you mean a MIDI patch bay that can simply route various MIDI inputs to outputs, then the answer is no.

You would need to MERGE the MIDI signals from all the keyboards together into one MIDI input for the SX900. A merge box is a very different animal to a patch bay. Look for a merge box - if there is one - that will merge four inputs into one.
It's not what you play, it's not how you play. It's the fact that you're playing that counts.
