Clavinova CVP-509 question
« on: January 12, 2021, 08:11:11 PM »
I recorded and saved a song on my Clavinova CVP-509.  I used a style from my flash drive which contains thousands of styles, and I have forgotten which style I used (yes, I know, pretty stupid of me). Is there a way to find out the name of the style that I used on this recorded song?  Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately not. But if you post the song we can listen to it and maybe recognize the style that way. I have been through this a time or two myself. Very frustrating! If your recording was in MIDI and you used a preset style, the keyboard will load the style when you select the MIDI. But alas not if the style is imported.

If it is an audio recording forget it, but - and this is a long shot -  if it is a midi, there might be a way to re create the style from the style parts. I dont actually know how, but someone might. When you play a midi you can press the mixer and see every channel including each style part channels. You could copy the midi, then delete all the other parts and just be left with the style parts. There might be software to make a style from a midi.
