Question / Demo request on the Portamento types.

PSR s975 owner here.

I am trying to simulate a real violin in s975 .. but there is a big problem I run into

Say 'C' has a different sample, and 'G' has a different violin sample.
I switch on the portamento and select legato, Press the 'C' and then press the 'G'. Two very annoying things happen.
1. The portamento takes the Sample of 'C' and pitch shifts to 'G' instead of transitioning to 'G'
2. Touch Response on :- The volume chosen is decided on the 'C' and NOT transitioned to the 'G''s volume.

I hear that SX900 has a "Crossfade option" that resolves this problem.
Can someone please post a demo video of the different portamento modes in the SX and show me how these work? Especially interested to see how Crossfade works.

I also have read that in the SX, you can change the portamento timing via the foot pedal .. A BIG STEP for me ... can you please include that in the demo as well ?

Is there a difference between Portamento and Glissando?
