Topic: Xpan Packs for SX700

I have the SX700. I downloaded the Western Europe pack, went through all the Expansion manager and all the voices and styles showed up. Great up to now. But when I tried to make the installation pack it came up as a .cqi file which won't load. What happens now?

Next question; When I had my SX900 I managed to make ONE pack out of 4 by picking the voices that I wanted. Have forgotten now how to do that. Please help.

Hi Denn,

for the first (basic) Pack Installation you have to use the .cpi file format (not .cqi).

After clicking the "Save as Pack Install File" button, first change the file type to .cpi. To do this, in the "Save as Pack Installation File" window, click on "Pack Quick Installation File (*.cqi)" and change it to "Pack Installation File (*.cpi)". Then select your USB stick and click the "Save" button to save the .cpi file onto the stick.
