Price drop for SX600
« on: November 21, 2020, 02:20:37 PM »
If you are Thomann customer in EU you will be glad to hear that they lowered the price for Yamaha PSR-SX600 from 820EUR to just 677EUR. I suspect the price drop is either a mistake or they are adjusting SX600 for upcoming Medeli AKX10 keyboard whose expected price is around 700 EUR. AKX10 is far more powerful than SX600 or even SX700/900 but just on paper. Will have to see if they deliver the quality with that price.

Either way the competition is good for us customers.

Cant see the Medeli AKX10 having much of an impact on Yamaha SX models.
Ok it's a 'clone' with some great features and is super value for money, but there is neither the software or support pool available for this maker we have with Yamaha or any other of the big players out there, well as far as i am aware...

Have they even got a forum for help?

Maybe you have noticed a drop as......There needs to be some decent price gap between the 600 and 700, or too many people will simply buy a 700 for the small cost difference, which I think is a far superior arranger than a 600.
