Layka - why don't you just listen to them, the built in samples are a great way, and decide what sounds best to you? And remember that authenticity in voices is not just driven by the voice, it is a lot to do with how it is played.

Hi Layka,

I just looked into the standard Music Finder file of the Tyros5:

For the Santana songs "Black Magic Woman", "Oye Como Va", "Smooth" the Style "RockChaCha" is used by the Music Finder.

Please call up the Style "RockChaCha" on your Tyros5 (it is in the Style category "Latin" on page P4) and press OTS 3 button.

Here the Voice "GuitarHero" is used (Voice category "E.Guitar," page P2), but the OTS Voice sounds slightly different compared to the corresponding Preset Voice. If you like that OTS sound, you can memorize it to a Registration.

You can also go into the VOICE SET of that Voice (press "F" button in the Main display to open the Voice Select display, then press VOICE SET), and there press "SAVE" to save your User Voice file to the User drive. (Use a meaningful file name such as GuitarSantana for the User Voice.)


Try also the OTS 3 of both the Styles "OrchRockBallad" and "BigRockBallad" (Style category "Pop&Rock", page P2). Here the E.Guitar Voices "RockHero" respectively "SoloKing" are used. (The OTS Voices are setted slightly different again compared to the corresponding Preset Voices.)


You can also go through all Styles in this Category "Pop&Rock" that have "Rock" in their name. Some of these Styles have also good "Santana Style" Guitar sounds on their OTS buttons.
