Looking for a timpani voice.    Bob

Hi Bob,

I just searched the Voice List in the Genos Data List (on the PC with the search function of my PDF reader) for "timpani" and found the following voices:

Preset Voice folder "Percussion" > Timpani (#000-112-048)
Preset Voice folder "EnsemblePart" > "Others" > Timpani (#109-112-048)

There is also a Voice "Timpani" (#000-000-048) in the GM&XG Voice folder (look in the subfolder "Strings"). To use GM&XG Voices on the Genos in Keyboard Parts, you have to copy a folder with the corresponding Voice files into the user drive or onto the USB stick used:

If needed, you can download the GM&XG Voice folder here:

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Bob,

Why not just search for Timpani on the Genos? That’s what the search function is for.

Cheers,
