Hello,

Yesterday we had our first successful live session on the PSR 770 at home, with my son on the keyboard and my niece singing through the mic.

Firstly, I wish to thank all the contributors in this forum for their posts on adjusting the volumes of the mic and the keyboard - they were most helpful!

However, when I tried to record/save their joint effort on the keyboard, only the keyboard part got saved, and not the vocals through the Mic. Is this a limitation of the PSR 770 (that both cannot be recorded)? Or am I missing something here?

I would sincerely appreciate if people who have tried this succeesfully can share the process.

Thanks!

How did you save the recording? Did you save an audio recording, or a midi recording?

An audio recording can include vocals; a midi recording cannot.

Cheers,
Fred

Hello Fred,

Thank you for your quick response.

I actually used the Rec button under the Songs section of the Keyboard, which I guess records as a MIDI and that's where my mistake was. I will try using the USB Device the next time.

Once again, thank you!

best regards
