Topic: Registrations Using Assignable Buttons?

  I want to be able to assign the same assignable buttons to all my registrations on my Genos.  Do I use the parameter lock to do this ?  If so, would someone explain the procedure?

Assignable buttons cannot be locked with the parameter lock. But you can do that with the Freeze option.
1. Set the assignable button to the desired status
2. Press the Direct Access button then the Freeze button
3. Check the Assignable Butons box
4. Activate Freeze (red light) while calling registrations, or keep it active at all times

Best thing is working with default Regs including everything.

In a Song reg only things needed to change from song to song.

With that system only a 1 or 2 Regs has  to be modified after a new idea :-) instead of hundreds..

For sure freeze is possible like Caspar wrote but not necessary with clever reg work...

If you always want the same assignments, then your best bet it to tell your registrations never to change them (by ensuring the assignable box is unchecked on memorization. If that’s what you’ve done, then you don’t have to change any of your regs.

If you have memorized assignments, then the best alternative is to use Freeze.
