Yamaha FC7 pedal
« on: October 30, 2020, 07:30:18 PM »
Can I use the the Yamaha FC7 pedal for both volume and also controlling a registration sequence? Is it a good pedal for both these purposes. If it can be used for both of these tasks, I assume I will have to assign the relative setting in the foot controller settings.

For registration sequence you need a pedal that just turn on and off, if you already have a sustain pedal you can use this, or another one like it.

Thank you. I already have a sustain pedal which is always connected to my SX900, but I want another pedal that can function as both a volume pedal and as a pedal to change the registration sequence. Do you know if the FC7 will do that?

As Toril says the  FC7 is not an on off switch, so not suitable.
