Oz, I'm not sure if your post is a question or a solution to some problem? I don't know what G2M is, maybe you mean a GM2 compatible device?
Anyway, as far as Genos is concerned the Pitch Bend Range is not part of a Genos voice. It is set in [Menu2][Keyboard/Joystick] (you may want to use [DIRECT ACCESS] then move the joystick in the Pitch Bend direction as a shortcut).
You may store the current Pitch Bend Range in the registration. Ranges for R1/2/3 are stored in the Voice Group, Left goes into the Style Group.
If you change the Pitch Bend Range manually, Genos sends a Pitch Bend Sensitivity RPN message to your external device. If you hit a registration key that has the Voice and/or Style Group stored, again Pitch Bend Sensitivity RPN messages will be sent (if this modifies the current Pitch Bend Range setting). If you don't want this to happen, you have to disable the CC transmission in Genos' Midi Setup. Drawback is that this prevents the transmission of any CC which you possible don't want.
External devices may have their own idea where to store Pitch Bend Ranges and how to handle Pitch Bend Sensitivity messages. Some may respond to these RPN message, others will ignore it. As always when connecting MIDI devices, you should know exactly what will be transmitted from the source device and how the target device will react to these incoming messages. Otherwise you may experience some surprises.
