Haw many style parts are on the 373? A&B or A, B, C &D?  Are they SF1 or 2?  Can I up;oad and use other styles from PSR Tutorial?

Hi Earl,

I downloaded the PSR-E373/EW-310/YPT-370 Owner's Manual and found the following:

1. The PSR-E373 has 205 built-in Styles. and it's only compatible to the Style File Format "SFF1" (NOT to SFF2 / SFF GE).

2. A E373 Style has one Intro, two Main Variations (A & B), two Fill-ins (one for Main A, one for Main B) and one Ending.

3. You can IMPORT SFF1 Styles from a Computer using the Yamaha "MusicSoft Downloader" program. You can import a maximum of 10 external Styles, because they must be "registered" (loaded) to the internal Style numbers 206 - 215 (one by one). Then these 10 Styles can be played exactly like the internal Styles.

4. The size of external Styles is very limited: The maximum capacity per file is 50KB. Files that exceed the limit will not be recognized on this instrument.

5. To my knowledge, it is NOT possible to copy the internal Styles to a USB stick or directly to a connected Computer on PSR-E models.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
