"Unison & Accent" function on the sx600 is on the sx900 too?
« on: August 13, 2020, 09:19:41 PM »
Is the "Unison & Accent" on the sx600 (which allows you to lower or increase the volume of the accompaniment according to key presses) present on the sx900 as well? If not, will it be present after new firmware?)

(Original language: A "Unison & Accent" do sx600 (que permite baixar ou aumentar o volume do acompanhamento de acordo com a pressão das teclas) está presente no sx900 também? Caso não esteja, estará presente após um novo firmware?).

No It is not yet on the 700 or 900

From what I understand it is only on the 600 for now. If anything, I personally think Genos will get it before the other SX models ....well that's IF it proves ok on the 600, is not problematic and users like it, then it MIGHT be offered in a Firmware update, but I have not heard anything to confirm this.

When the 900 arrived it had Chord Looper and Genos did not, that was then added to Genos on an update ....so maybe history will repeat, who knows??

I would not 'hold your breath' IMHO ....It will be a long wait ...I think the 600 will take a LONG time to even hit the stores and i presume  application to other models will be well after that, well if it even happens at all.

Hello :) On Genos there is something called dymanics control, I suppose the SX models have it too.
This setting lets the style and your right hand voices respond to how hard you hit the keys.
Go to the menu, press style setting, then turn Dynamics control on.

The Unison&Accent feature makes the style turn instruments on and off in response to how hard you press the keys. That will trickle down to the Genos and XS models in time, I believe :)

We have noticed that this function seems to only be available in certain styles, marked as "Unison" styles. So it's not enough just to get a firmware update, you also need access to the updated styles. I guess they would have to supply model-specific versions of the styles.

It is great for orchestral music. Takes some practicing to make it sound good.
