Saving Live Control in a registration on S975?
« on: August 10, 2020, 03:35:42 PM »
I think this question was asked sometime in the past.

Can the Live Control settings be saved in a registration on the S975?  I'm asking if the actual knob position (value of the parameter of the knobs) be saved in a registration?  In other words if a knob is assigned to Volume or Filter for R1, is the Volume or Filter setting (knob position) saved in a registration button?

Thanks in advance.

Well ....

The registration will save the parameter value, regardless of whether it was set using the knob, dial, or buttons.

If you set using the knob, then change with the dial, the registration will save the last setting.

When you reload, the saved setting will come back regardless of the current knob position.

On the S970 (which has a different OS, the dial does not replace the knob).  I think the S975 OS was the beginning (initial build without the touch screen) for the new OS for the Genos and sx900.
