Send midi signals to laptop - midi settings on keyboard help
« on: August 01, 2020, 01:47:22 AM »
Hi all,

I'm using PSR 670 as midi device to connect to mainstage. I'm able to send midi singles of all the 66 keys to mainstage. I would like to use "registration buttons" to change patches on mainstage and control knobs to change volume. However I'm not able to do so. When I press any of the reg buttons no midi signal is received by mainstage.

I've tried to EDIT midi profile on 670 so as to see if that helps but couldn't as there is no specific param for registration buttons.

Can someone help me if there is any work around ? Or else if anyone has a midi profile which has settings that I can download and use for my keyboard.

Your help on this deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards
Benji

As far as my knowledge goes Registrations work for the Keyboard and not to the DAW.

Mainstage assigns Patches Differently.
For Volume Control
You'll have to check if Main Stage Accepts CC7
Or if there's an option to Receive CC Messages.
