Hello Folks,

I’m trying to make some big band sounds for Cole Porter Begin the Beguine, ideally like this video of Artie Shaw,

Does anyone have a good voice recommendation for all the sounds in here please,

Just using a mixture of brass and woodwind. Try mixing sax trombone clarinet etc until you find a sound you like. Go through some of the Big Band style OTS settings and if you like them save to Registration bank. Also try the ensemble voices there are some nice ones in there including Miller sound.

The ensemble voices. Heidrun Dolde from Soundwonderland have nice videos how to use them. First part is in German Second part in English. Thery are cold Lern videos. Teaching videos. And also some packs where she already made regs. Also big band sounds.

 it can give you some ideas which instruments to use use.

Wim, go through every Big Band style on your keyboard and save the voices you like to a registration. That should give you a good selection of BB sounds, by tweaking a little maybe find some voices you like.
