Topic: TAP tempo

Hello everyone,

Is there any way to make TAP tempo usable? It needs 4 taps for 4/4 bar, but the speed it measures is only from the last two taps, which is 99% not correct. This works on Roland 100%, the same with Korg, but Yamaha does not take into account the first 3 taps and does not measure the average speed of all 4 taps.

Anyone have the solution to this?

I think its a matter of opinion whether this is the best way or not. I like the Yamaha way because the last two taps are likely to be the true speed I want. The idea of using an average speed doesn't appeal to me.
If you are into absolute accuracy rather than feel, then you can set the bpm of the style.

if you are human there is a relatively accurate taping when we count in milliseconds.

This tool shows that we may need to tap many many times to find the relatively correct rhythm of a 4/4 song.

Of course music programs can find the exact and accurate tempo of a song in the last millisecond because songs are never at a tempo without several digits different from 0.
(Eg they are not in 122.000 tempo,they are in 122.439 actual tempo)

The rubber button on the keyboard is not something that can be pressed so much accurately anyway.
