Styles sets for sale from PSR Tutorial
« on: June 29, 2020, 10:43:13 AM »
A couple of days ago, I bought one of the PSR Tutorial styles downloads. It was the number 8 set, containing 6,760 various styles plus other info. The cost was 25 US Dollars (I live in Bristol UK). I was pleased with the set and although I have not as yet had a chance to look at it thoroughly, I am thinking of buying another set. The trouble is, I don’t know which one to buy. At present, I am using  a PSR SX700 (home use only), so that will influence any choice I make. Can anyone please suggest the best of the sets to buy and give reasons why. Any info that members can give will probably help others too. For instance, one of the sets mentions 18,000 songs. Does this mean that all 18,000 songs are named more or less correctly? I know Joe Waters describes these sets on the PSR Website but I am still having second thoughts about which to buy, and this kind of information would be very helpful.  Some members must have one or two of these sets and I’m sure others (including myself of course) would be interested. Thanks once again for any advice.

Hi Ceebee ...welcome to forum
There are some handy files available ...I also supported the forum with a purchase . Joe is very good and helpful I have found.
Like all files ...its really a matter of personal choice ....I just sort through and find what I like, then copy to my own folders ... what styles some use for a song I might not and V.V.
For what these cost its worth the punt ....even if you only use a few files they are loads cheaper than commercial stuff.
The song styles do have titles of course.
I just found some song styles for SX on line at the right price ...PM me if you want details.

Not sure if you have seen this post, see 'all new generation styles' section on page  ( free zipped downloads ) he kindly points out as being suitable for the SX700 see -

notice also we have a dedicated category for SX posts ....just so you dont miss related topics

I have found Style Collection #7 very useful, showing styles by song title, tempo, and contributor. Also includes 6,700 MusicFinder records and a number of registration sets. “If you like to find styles by song title, this is the data set for you!”
