Hello,
When will the Yamaha psr A4000 model be released? Does anyone know about this?

luiscarlos2000:
Hi Islam,
I'm not the only one who's asking that? I've bought a Yamaha PSR-A 2000 in august 2015, which I use mostely for a musical band I'm in. It's a little bit damaged, I think. Then I've bought a PSR-A3000 as a christmas gift in 2016. With both I have 4 or 5? years using those keyboards so I really need an update to both and use the other 2 as  backupp keyboards. I don't know if the model shall be releaced since I explore the arranger workstation list on the Yamaha website, and it doesn't appear, nor I don't know how to follow the development of the model. I really don't know the answer, sorry. If I'm wrong please correct me, since I want to follow development.

Here are the facts:
• PSR-A3 - 1995
• PSR A1000  - 2002 (+7 years)
• PSR A2000 2010 (+8 years)
• PSR A3000 2015 (+5 years)

So a guess is that we can expect the new oriental model on 2021 (+6 years).
But as we all know every forecast is now change due COVID-19 pandemia.

Another interesting point to keep in mind is that the oriental model is always based to another existing model.
PSR A3 was a variation of PSR 520, A1000 was a variation  of PSR 1000, A2000 was based on PSRs700 and A3000 is a variation of PSR 770.

I believe that we already have the model in which A4000 will be based and this is SX700.
So if everything goes as expected I'm sure that we will see the A4000 sometime in 2021 !
