Shift beat patterns of a time signature of a style
« on: May 31, 2020, 09:20:38 PM »
Hi,

Is that possible to have PSR or using a software to shift the beat pattern of a (3+2+2)/8 pattern to (2+2+3)/8? I suppose this is not just about making 1 and 3 and 5th beat stronger.

Hi chikitin,

maybe you can do someting like that with the funktions "Groove" and/or "Dynamics" in the "Groove" tab of the Style Creator. Please refer to pages 38/39 of the S975 Reference Manual.

Otherwise you would probably have to edit the Style data directly, eg with "MixMaster".

Best regards,
Chris
