Loud note
« on: May 11, 2020, 11:53:53 AM »
Hello,
the D3 note on my PSR-S670 sounds very much louder than the other keys. I am new to the instrument and think I have done something wrong. Can anyone help please? I have a feeling it has to do with tuning to the other instruments in a band? Thanks,

Hi markbee,

please do the following tests, and then come back with the test results:

1. Press the "UPPER OCTAVE - (minus)" button once.

>>> Is the "much louder" key still D3 then, or is D4 now the "louder" key?

2. Press "UPPER OCTAVE +/-" buttons simultaneously to come back to the normal state.

3. Play the D3 key and some keys below / above D3 as SOFT as possible.

>>> Is D3 playing always with full Velocity (so that it makes no difference if you hit the D3 key very soft or very hard)?

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
