Avatar Size and Format Please

What size and format is necessary for a PSR forum Avatar?

I've reduced mine to 100 x 75 pixels in .jpg format and no luck with upload.

My avatar is 80x80 pixels at 72dpi (dots per inch) and is a jpg file.
I hope this helps you with your problem. You should be able to edit your image in a photo editor of your choice.
