Where did you get this style file? If it is from one of the models that use SFF2 styles (PSR S-910/S-710 & Tyros 3 and newer), then you will need to convert it with Jorgen Sorensen's SFF2 to SFF1 file converter program. The PSR-E series boards will only play SFF1 style files. Also, if the style file is much over 52Kb in size, it is too large for the PSR-E series boards.

However, recent experiences have indicated that loading an SFF2 style into a PSR-E series board
appears to load and run OK, but there is no sound output and no error message, even though the style does not
actually load or run, and styles that are too large for the PSR-E series boards normally just do not appear in the menu as a loadable file, to begin with. So the fact that you are getting some type of error message may just indicate that you have a corrupt file.
