E463 and DAW with MIDI
« on: April 02, 2020, 12:39:18 PM »
Can I make MIDI data like drums or piano chords in a DAW (Reaper) and make it play directly with other voices from E463? Or I have to export that data first and then import that via Musicsoft Downloader into E463? This would be sooo impractical.

I am trying to figure out how to use my Yamaha E463 as it was a VST plugin in my DAW so I can produce and record music only with these two.

Thanks for help guys.

Ok so I managed to record properly a MIDI track in my Reaper DAW with my Yamaha PSR-E463 with Piano and Strings voice (009) but now I want to record audio version of this midi with different voice from keyboard. I changed the voice on my keyboard but Reaper is recording the audio with original voice.

Is there a way to automatically detect and change proper voice from my keyboard or I have to record new MIDI with different voice?

Thanks for help.

I figure it out...I think. For future reference:

I imported E463 ReaBanks file in ReaControlMIDI. Now I can use my E463 as VST. :-)
