Losing local control when using Genos is DAW
« on: March 28, 2020, 10:34:10 AM »
Hi

When I was using Genos in Sonar as a multitimbral sound source, I was losing local control. All sound stopped when I attempted to play panel voices or styles etc. I had to restart Genos to regain local control. I posted the problem and received an effective solution, which was to add a few lines to a Sonar system file which told Sonar to not switch local control off. It works great.

Now, I believe I am having the same problem with Ableton Live 10. Local control has been switches off by Ableton Live. Does anyone know a way to stop Ableton Live from switching off Genos local control?

Thank You

Load this mid file in sonar or any other sequencer and save it as a startup file
Or play it as a midi file in any midi player or sequencer
it sets local on
you can also use it as a local off file replace 127 with 0
