Topic: Genos to T4 style conversion no RH sound effects ? Help

I was just trying some Genos to T4 style conversions I got on psr tutorial by Omnibus....
the styles sound terriffic BUT....
the right hand sounds, OTS, etc, don't have any effects and are dry?
what could be the problem?

How are you finding the Tyros 4 Dnj

Hi .....I have only had the T4 for a few days now....
As I have always been a Tyros lover for so many reasons, and yes I have owned the Genos, SX900,SX700
and every S series model and beyond, but I always return to a Tyros...For some reason the T4 eluded me and I have heard so many praise its attributes so when a great deal on a Mint T4 came my way I had to have one as I always wanted this model.....many have told me they wish they didn't sell theirs and buy a Genos which made me wonder and I had to find out for my self.  I really enjoyed the Genos styles for their 'variation continuity' and now since I could use them converted with the Tyros 4 is really a beautiful thing. I just feel comfy playing Tyros4 vs Genos.....Tilt display, big buttons, VH2, navigation, sliders, SA2, etc, it's all good.......Like I said it's only been a few days I am sure to explore and tweak, edit as I dig into the OS more end more. have a great day.
and they sound amazing I have the best of both worlds.

 So pleased you chose the T4, a great choice    I have the Genos & the lovely trustworthy  T4, still sounds fantastic  with a bit of tweaking, some sounds are even better on certain styles than the Genos to my ears

I’ve downloaded the Genos styles but yet to try on my Tyros 4. What levels do you use for your right hand parts to balance them?

First off when you try them in T4 you will have to follow the procedure to make the RH effects work properly..

otherwise most will be DRY.... style parts work fine and sound fantastic.
That said the RH levels are all up to you and how you want to play them as solo lead melody or accompaniment
as I do as a singer.. then there is the speaker system you use that also makes a big difference....
.its a players choice on how you set up your KB....there are no rules.

I use 2 KRK Rokit6 studio monitors
It sounds so much better the
Yamaha Ms04 system.
