Any one use this as a bass speaker ? can you compare to the bass woofer of the Yamaha Genos speaker set.
I have recently replaced my pair of 16 year old Roland powered monitor speakers with Yamaha HS5 speakers which sound great ( one of the old Rolands packed up and I think had been deteriorating for some time). At present I use the HS5's facing me either side with the Yamaha speakers behind me on the other side of the room, the Yamaha bass on the floor beneath the keyboard.
I wonder if The HS8S sub base will give an even better sound
