I’m confused.

If it’s on a USB, why not use it from there?

If you’ve "installed" it, where did you do so, and what do you mean by "install"?

If you want it on your hard drive, just copy it.

Cheers,
Fred

Pad Stopper is not software.  It's a Multi Pad file. It's a simple 4-pad file. Each pad has a single note programmed in it with the note velocity set to 1 and Volume set to zero and will play just once (not repeat) and then stop.

It’s to do what the name implies — stop a pad that’s running.

It's used in registrations. If you want any number of pads to stop when you select the next registration.  Just copy the Pad Stopper pad to one or more Pads you want to stop playing. Click on the link below in my profile and read my article, download the files and try the demo registrations to see how Pad Stopper works.  Follow the instructions EXACTLY to play the demo registrations.

Hi Fred,
I have put the Pad stopper on my memory stick, after downloading it,put the stick in the Tyros and got the pad stopper on Multi Pads.
I would like to know how to get it to work, for instance in my registration I would like to bring in a Multi Pad in Reg memory 3 and stop it when I move to another Reg Button.
I hope this explains what I want to do.
Basically how do I set this up to work,to get the above result.
Or if anybody else knows what I am trying to do,I would appreciate your help.
Regards
Daryl

Load the "another Reg"
Load padstopper.
Syncstart the pad(s) you want stopped
Memorize the reg.

Thanks for the answers. Can't you just turn them off and memorize it in the next registration? I must be missing something!  :-\

You must be.

If you could, Padstopper would never have been invented.

As I noted above in my previous post... If you really want to learn about it you've got to do the work; read my article and download the demo files that include using the Pad Stopper file. You will see how it works.

I made the pad stopper, another good Idea if using pads with reg, edit each pad you want to use and copy and paste the pad your using to only the #1 PAD then when you want to use a different pad in each reg providing your using 8 reg to one song assign the pad to automatically come on with each Reg using  the different pad you want to use if only using #1 each reg  will over wright the pad your using, so you can us many types of pads in each performance they will turn on automatically with each reg you push and if no pad is wanted for some of the reg use pad stopper
