PSR SX900 Black Keys Question
« on: February 24, 2020, 01:39:08 AM »
Hello Folks,

One of the SX900 keyboard - after relatively little use - shows that the black keys are beginning to sound quite noisy and loose. I didn't see any of that on the Genos or previous Tyros keyboards.

I was wondering if this might be a "one-off" with this particular keyboard or if any of you had a similar experience after using the SX900 for a while?

Thanks much for your feedback already and have a great start into the new week.

Cheers, Roland

Hi Roland,
I did answer you on my forum Have been using my SX900 since they came out and don't have any problems with black keys at all. Very pleased with it.

Roland,
I need to confirm your impression.
It seems the keys are noisy if you press them in the upper portion, nevertheless it is difficult for me to say if this was happening since the beginning or not....

This is a brand new keybed, much better vs the terrible one used on previous PSR models.
I don't mind too much about the noise but I hope it will last for long.

Regards

I have just run up and down my keys without switching the keyboard on and they all sound the same.
If you are not happy then why not have a word with your dealer.

Hello Guys,

Thanks so much. I too think it's best to take that thing to the dealer and get it checked out.

Thanks again and have a great week. Cheers, Roland
