PSR S770 with keyboard controller as lower manual
« on: February 24, 2020, 11:05:25 PM »
Hi All

I am starting to build a two manual setup using the S770 as the upper manual and a Maudio ES61 controller as the lower.  In addition I have the midi out of a Yamaha MFC10 foot controller for style changes  going to midi in on the S770. So my question,  can I run  a cable from the Maudio USB port  to the Yamaha USB to host port and have it control left hand and style functions.   I know I would have to adapt cable so both ends would be type B connector.     Or is the Yamaha USB to host port only for connecting to a PC which would then force me to use standard 5 pin midi cables between the three units.

Thanks

Better play it safe and use the 5-pin DIN MIDI connectors between M-audio and Yamaha keyboard.
