That's right, MixMaster is the first in a series.

I add to that XGWorks.

To edit CASM data is the CASM Editor.

StyleMagic YA is a great program but it has a price.

Would be StyleMagic YA be considered a complete all-in-one solution for creating/modifying Yamaha Styles, I.e., no other pieces of software would be needed for this task ?

Would MixMaster or XGworks be also considered complete all-in-one solutions or are there limitations at this time ?

Yes, StyleMagic YA complete solution. You can do whatever you need with it. It's a little harder to edit notes in Multieditor, but other software (XGWorks) may be used to it.

MixMaster with XGworks (GoTO option) is a freeware option that can also do all the tasks. The objection is that it cannot manipulate CASM. A CASM Editor (also Free) can be used for this.
